The thermal conductivity of silica brick hot blast furnaces is greater than that of clay bricks and high-alumina bricks, which is conducive to storing and releasing heat in a short time. The product shape should be regular and the size deviation should be small. The hole diameter difference of the inspection brick is ±1mm, and the silica brick hot blast furnace in the rest of the parts should not exceed ±1%. If composite bricks are used for the upper joints of the external combustion hot blast furnace, they need to be cut before masonry. Grinding and pre-assembly. The width of the surface crack is not more than 0.5mm, and there should be a length limit edge. Cracks with a width of less than 0.1mm do not affect the use, and there should be no cracks caused by improper cooling.  Advantages and features 1. Under long-term high temperature and load, the volume is stable and the high-temperature creep rate is low, so one or even two blast furnaces can be used continuously. 2.Good thermal shock resistance above 600℃. Adapt to the temperature changes of hot blast furnace and keep the bricks and masonry intact. 3. Chemical resistance is better than clay bricks and general high-alumina bricks. The erosion of hot blast furnace silica bricks by alkaline substances in coal gas and flue gas is limited to the formation of glass phase on the surface and will not peel off.
